What is the purpose of this saw. It doesnt seem sharp. Not worn from use either. Machined this way ?

   I have a Victorinox with a blade like that, and I always thought it was a fish scaler.

   I think that’s for fish descaling? I seem to remember someone telling me that’s what this is for.

   That is not a saw. It’s for scraping scales off a fish. The fork on the end s is for disgorging fishing hooks.

   not a saw – fish scaler and hook disgorger (that little fork on the end); eta: the knife blade not opened is probably for filleting
